About the event
This High Adventure practice hike is to prepare all YW born in 2010 for this year's backpacking adventure. We will be hiking about 3 miles up 3 Hawks Trail. Please feed your daughter beforehand and send her with water and a snack. Wear appropriate hiking shoes, sturdy tennis shoes will work but please no converse or vans. Also, come with a heavy backpack- either the one you will be using to backpack with or your school bag full of books. We want to get used to hiking with weight on our backs. Pay attention to weather in case you need sunblock, a hat or extra water.
